I joined the WCC when I was younger to gain more knowledge of the UK Sea Cadets, and to meet different cadets from around the UK (and eventually the world). I had left however came back as I felt once I started training to be a deck officer I would be able to give a lot back to the corps by way of training and passing on my knowledge. 

I joined the corps roughly around 8 Years ago in the Navy section, as I was a sea Cadet, and worked my way up, With a few set backs along the way, I became the fine figure of an NCO you see me as today. In real life I moved from the Sea Cadets to the Air Cadets and thought it would be sensible to mimic this move in the WCC. I am now about to embark on a cadet ship with a shipping company as a deck officer so have transfered back to the navy section as i feel I would be of most benefit to cadets in this section with the knowledge I will learn.
